The owner, Dave Whiting, has overcome enormous personal tragedy in the last year, to continue to produce the most stunning wines.  His library stock of both Rieslings and Cabernet Francs are award-winning and sublime.  Particularly when paired with the stunning food that is produced from the kitchens of the winery’s own award-winning restaurant.

Together they make a great pairing, along with the rest of the team.  Something tells me these guys will go from strength to strength.  So get in quick before these wines all disappear or get snaffled into private cellars.

 

These guys deserve recognition on the world stage.  Perhaps I will persuade them to open a pop up restaurant in London next year and do food & wine matching.   During my first trip to Finger Lakes in March, I was handsomely wined and dined in their superb restaurant.   So much so, I stopped spitting at one point - very unprofessional (!), but just too good!
